I made this costume in time for Halloween, but didn't manage to get to wear it or get pictures until a day later. Everything is hand made by me. Skulls were made out of Crayola Model Magic, painted in acrylic and spray paint. Wings are made from craft foam and framing board.The horns are made from model magic as well, painted in acrylic paints and glazed with sculpey glaze. The wig is a Cleopatra wig from amphigory dyed, cut and styled by myself. I bought shoes from the thrift store and spray-painted the souls and made the cuffs from batting and vinyl. The shirt is made from sweater/hoodie material that was on sale (yay sale) along with the skirt and collar are made from a sturdy cotton trimmed in grosgrain ribbon. As for the pleated skirt, this was hell on earth. I had to completely reverse the Simplicity 3689 pattern. It worked out great though. I'm very happy with this costume. OH and as for the cuffs, I based them off of a few screen shots of the game. They may not be accurate but, hey, I was in a rush.  |
